  1. Hey, Great photos! Is this the same richard haines from Steady Brook? Not sure if you remember me, Steph. I used to bang around with you at the cow palace years ago. I am a married old bag now, I went into nursing after hitchin across canada twice, I work at the waterford hospital now, Crazy hey!!! I am still in touch with Rob Crane from out your way if you remember him. Looks as if you followed your dreams, saweet!! I always longed to do the fine arts program at grenfell but it was not in the cards for me. I still paint and I do love photography witch is how I found your website. I have a canon g10 but my hubby has a nikon d80 which is fun to play with. I never made my way through all of your photos but i especially like the post surgical pic. Cheers, and happy photoing!! Steph.

  2. Hey Steph,
It is indeed me, I meant to respond to this so many times, but I never felt I had the time to give a proper response. I don’t really have the time now, but I couldn’t put it off any longer. Glad to hear things are good, I’m justa couple months away from being married myself. Painting and shooting when I can fit it around teaching. It’s all good.
    Take care!

  3. Cool, it is you. I often surf the web when I am at work, I do mostly 12 hour night shifts, this is when I find myself finding sites such as yours. Glad to hear that you are good and congratulations on your upcoming marriage! My hubby is shooting the photos for my friends wedding coming up in August, they are coming over from Wales. I hope you are not the main phtographer for your own wedding, I’m sure you’ll snap off a few though! Me and my husband live in Mount Pearl with my big fat cat, life is good. I found a spot downtown that will take my photos and stretch them over canvas, nothing like home self decor. the pics are from out around your old stomping ground, me and my sister drove up to lance aux meadows, she is a biologist and knew all the groovy beaches out that way, I have a couple of nice macro shots that I took with tha canon G10 that I am going to bring the the guy downtown, if you ever want to give up the teaching rackett you should do what this guy is doing, I got a quote of 90$ for one approximately one foot by one foot print! Are your parents still in steady brook? Do you get much of a chance to get back to newfoundland? Thanks for getting back to me. Hope you are happy and healthy, Cheers, Steph.
